It's a chance to dress up, wear a hat, and have a flutter over a glass or two of something special.
A day at the races is also a great way to entertain clients, as for many people it's not something an activity you would regularly participate in.
Snap Bankstown recently invited some of their major clients to a "Day to the Races" at Warwick Farm. This event was co-organised with Share Care (NGO for disabled children in the Bankstown/Liverpool Area). It was a huge success as over $1 million raised through betting on the horses, open and silent auctions and raffles. The first race, sponsored by Snap Bankstown, saw Gai Waterhouse' horse win.
Snap Bankstown Franchise Owner Keryn Bos and one of her major clients presented the winner's ribbon under the eye of a television crew and newspapers to the winning horse and jockey. A great day was had by all for a very worthy cause.
