Snap holiday comp doubles website traffic

Snap Australia saw its website traffic double thanks to its competition to win a trip to Singapore with $1,000 spending money.
The prize pool consisted of five Singapore holidays with five nights for two people at the Novotel Clarke Quay, economy air fares, complimentary breakfast and free transfers valued at around $4,000 per trip.
Raeleen Hooper, general manager of franchise services with Snap, says the competition definitely drove more traffic to the Snap website, with a more than 100 per cent increase in visits during the campaign period.She tells Australian Printer, We were pleased with how the competition performed to connect with our clients, reinforce our brand position as the leading print, design and website franchise in Australia and generate sales leads for our Snap centres.
The sales impact can be measured over an extended period of time after the promotion finishes, but initial indications from client feedback is that the promotion has worked successfully to strengthen our relationships with clients.We have been running these types of promotions for the past twelve months and have found the response to be steadily building both from our existing clients and also new prospects.
She adds that it is rewarding for Snap to thank its client base by sending five couples on the overseas jaunt.
