Snap has added the "biggest independent digital printer in Sydney" to its franchise network and more independents may follow.
CBD firm Jagar Sprinting, which was the result of a 2008 merger between Jagar Document Integration and Sprinting, is now known as Snap Wynyard. The 20-staff firm officially joined Snap on 30 July.Snap chief executive Stephen Edwards said it took seven months of negotiations to win over Jagar's directors, Malcolm Gasper and Bruce Jacobs.
"We really value what this business can bring to Snap. This business will help us bring our CBD offering to a higher level," he said.Edwards told ProPrint that the Jagar Sprinting deal represented "the first milestone in the execution of our transformation strategy"."The team at Jagar Sprinting bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our franchise group that will ultimately bring benefits to all of our franchise owners as we collectively share information and skills."
"They will join our leadership council, who work together to continue to evolve the Snap group as a whole.""Snap Wynyard will boost our Sydney CBD offering to five Snap centres, creating more convenience for all of our clients working in Sydney."
Edwards told ProPrint that Jagar Sprinting had also taken a step forward by signing with Snap."Jagar Sprinting has a strong history in print and design. They recognised that in order to continue to grow and provide the best possible service to their clients they needed to move into essential marketing services such as websites, database marketing and online ordering. Snap provided the ideal opportunity to move into that space."
Snap hopes to add up to 10 more independent printers to its network, said Edwards.
