No offset press manufacturers in Snap list

A web design company, Bloomtools and an insurance broker, OAMPS, join mainstream industry suppliers in a 'partnership initiative' with the franchise chain.
Over eleven supply companies are given the green light to supply to the 179 owner-operated stores across Australia. Under the scheme, the 'Gold Partners' are endorsed and supported throughout the Snap franchising network.
The full list includes practically all the major digital print suppliers Canon, Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, and Ricoh. In a sign of the production strategy of the franchise chain there are no offset press manufacturers in the list.
CMYKhub is included as the sole 'for trade' print supplier. This follows Snap's ongoing strategy of outsourcing most commercial print to CMYKhub-operated press centres and only performing shorter-run digital print work at the stores. - See more at: http://print21.com.au/no-offset-press-manufacturers-make-snap-top-supply-list/75282#sthash.Yu2WOmDb.dpuf
According to a Snap press release, the programme allows its franchisees to gain access to the products and services of best-in-class suppliers across a range of industries, to the benefit of the Group's 500,000 business and retail clients.
Snap CEO Stephen Edwards said the initiative has been many months in the making. "We do not select our Gold Partners lightly, and each organisation involved already has a successful long-term working relationship with us."Our Gold Partners are selected on the basis of their outstanding technology and product offerings, not to mention compatible values, and a scale that allows them to deal with the needs of our 158 franchises across the country.
"We are absolutely committed to becoming the print, design, website, and essential marketing services provider of choice for small businesses across Australia, and this move is our latest step towards this."Snap claims it is the only franchise group in Australia to have a major supply channel strategy, and is the first time it has rolled out such a large-scale supplier partnership initiative. The new programme forms part of Snap's Transformation Strategy to become an all-in-one destination for small business' print, design and online marketing needs.
Currently, SNAP claims to service more than 500,000 business and retail clients, with a turnover of over $120m per annum; SNAP has 179 Owner-operated Centres across Australia as well as China, New Zealand and Ireland.
The full list of Snap supply partners is: Australia Post, Bloomtools, BJ Ball, Canon, CMYKhub, EFI, Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, Neopost GBC, OAMPS and Ricoh.
