Silver Fox

Melissa Chipperfield came to Snap Printing looking for a logo and brand that would set her family’s business, Silver Fox Appliance Repairs, apart from competitors. In an industry with bland, generic brands and advertising, she had a fair idea a cartoon character would stand out.

“Dad is grey haired which is where the Silver Fox name came from, so we wanted a chubby, cheeky looking fox to go with it,” Melissa says.

“At the same time, we wanted a professional look, so we needed someone who could come up with both.”

This is where Snap Printing Mandurah stepped in.

Designer Alex Crowley also happens to be a talented cartoonist and was excited at the prospect of being involved.

“We had a really good rapport going on – Melissa had some good ideas so we sat down together and did some sketching and our Silver Fox evolved from there.”

Melissa agrees that the working relationship helped make the process enjoyable.

“I can be pedantic image wise, so they had to put up with my changes but not once did they complain.”

The entire project took only around two weeks to complete and included logo, business card, stationery and advertising designs.

As for the cheeky Silver Fox, he continues to grab attention from customers and friends. Melissa says “people always ask where we got our logo and advertising done and we recommend Snap all the time.”
