Avery Dennison – Office

Most corporate offices might have a picture or two to grace their walls but office products and self-adhesive supplier, Avery Dennison, wanted something to stand out.

Seriously stand out.

Think walls, floors, cubicle partitions, toilet doors – even stairwells covered in vibrant, custom designed art!

It was a job Peter Spencer and the team at Snap Printing Norwest jumped at being involved in.

Peter, manager of the Norwest centre, says the clients were clear with what they wanted to achieve.

“Avery Dennison wanted their products on show in a dynamic and creative way.

“We had to come up with a consistent theme to be applied to artwork throughout the entire office – even toilet doors and the floors were included.”

“It had to be vibrant and colourful and include certain elements – like a café scene and coffee machine!

Peter said the designer took a lot of time to get the ‘feel’ of the company before getting started, including speaking to employees to get an idea of their interests.

In the end, it was a tricky job, Peter says.

“Terry had to come up with designs that took into account walls and offices of different shapes and sizes and stairwells in the middle of walls. He also had to make sure designs ‘flowed’ between different rooms and elements in the room, such as partitions.

In all the project took a month to complete and the result is completely striking and unique.

“These offices have to be seen to be believed,” Peter says.

“The design work is sensational – Terry did a great job and the client has had a fantastic response to the office.”
